Thought Adjuster: “Helping others is a very broad area. In your daily work, you help others who benefit from the things you produce. It is appropriate for human beings to seek better ways to earn a living, so that they can meet their material needs as well as their spiritual needs to express love for their fellow beings and exercise their creative faculties—for after all, when a human being uses their mind to create—things that are positive and beneficial for themselves and others—that is when they most resemble God.

You can help others more effectively meet their own material or spiritual needs. You can help them live a more stimulating life, rich in experiences. You can help them by sharing the light you carry within. You can help them by teaching them a trade. You can help in many ways. However, beware of negative help. When you solve problems that each person should solve for themselves, when you take away the opportunity for them to learn from the lessons life offers, when you prevent them from facing the consequences of their thoughtless decisions, when you ‘give them a fish instead of teaching them how to fish,’ you are not truly helping anyone. Instead, you are fostering their dependency and their lack of original thinking.

Give more freedom to your imagination. That is where your creativity resides. Many times, you repress your dreams by imposing false limits on them. In truth, dreaming costs nothing—unless your dreams prevent you from facing the realities of life. Again, balance is the key. Dream just enough to stimulate your creativity and your desire to change things for the better, but don’t let your life become a constant fantasy or illusion.

Often, the deepest desires of your soul are suggestions from the spirit to awaken you from inertia and to stimulate your creative impulses toward higher achievements. Do not repress these impulses. Contemplate them, explore them, study them, and find methods, paths, and alternatives to turn your ideas into reality. How do you think the creative power from on high manifests itself in your world? Only through the minds of those who “listen” and try to manifest in the world the higher realities they construct in their minds with the help of the spirit.”
