Thought Adjuster: “You were pondering that, even though many of you are constantly asking for inner guidance, it is not always forthcoming instantly, leaving you wondering if it is happening at all.

It is a PROCESS where you need to maintain a strong faith—your spiritual backbone. Jesus said: “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move; Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:14–20).

Never forget that you live in an evolutionary world subject to the parameters of time and space and the laws of cause and effect. It takes time to get results, which also pertains to ‘asking and receiving,’ as your Guidance Team has to orchestrate suitable circumstances to facilitate the emergence of sought-after positive outcomes. Time is always on your side if you exhibit a patient attitude of surrendering to ‘the higher powers that be’ who are experts in helping you move mountains.

Practice tranquil patience, as a peaceful mind and heart are best equipped to become the repositories of the heavenly downloads, ever alert to pick up on the clues subtly or more openly positioned along your path by a resourceful universe.

The timing of divine intervention depends on the seriousness of your predicaments and the prerequisites the ‘Responders’ have to put in place to provide relief or feedback.

Recall the times when you asked for divine help in moments of despair or uncertainty and you will better identify the workings of divine wisdom to provide you with the right prompts and nudges: synchronicities, out-of-the-blue opportunities, or mental downloads that helped you figure things out or keeping you proactive during a longer ‘interval.’

Keep the flame of your faith burning strong to do your part to facilitate the process. It is much better than turning into a doubting and disillusioned Thomas, which makes Spirit’s work more challenging as doubt makes you weak in the knees whereas faith multiplies your strength.”

Samuel: “It is often said that things happen in threes, although we might now easily claim that things happen in sixes and sevens. It has been a busy time for you and I had to pick my moment to be able to speak with you, advise you and acknowledge your efforts during the last four weeks and more.

“It may well seem to you that people in difficulty appear in ‘bunches’ to descend on you in small groups as if in your rush and trouble to heal them you are being taught to organize yourself anew. They are random events as you might well know, although there are factors that on rare occasions will ‘bunch up’ these people that request their healings. Consider, was it something you said, was it the misery of drab weather, a mere coincidence? Does the cause actually matter?

“You have your oft-voiced doubts that life on an evolutionary world is somewhat of a mistake — an un-thought-through decision made by an underling of quite low spiritual standing or by a tough-minded Melchizedek expecting all things to sort themselves out as they — those self same Melchizedek brothers — sort themselves out. However, to consider such a thing is a mistake . . . Life on an evolutionary world is meant to be rugged but fair, somewhat harsh but not impossible, taxing but never deadly. I, Samuel of Panoptia, lived on such a world and it could be rather rugged, still fair, even harsh and sometimes taxing, but that was Panoptia, not Urantia, uh, uh.

“The rebellion struck Urantia at an awkward time — during your formative years — and the absolute worst of times when we on Panoptia were advanced enough and could turn our backs on and ignore our Planetary Prince and stay true to Michael. They were difficult times for us, but we learned how near-to-impossible life on Urantia was. And I remember learning how desperate the situation had become on your world, and forgive me, I at times wished to share with you all your life on your planet.

George: “Someone I know rather well calls them ‘brownie points’. You were after brownie points, yes?”

Samuel: “I call it wishful thinking and you know that since you are human and have needs and wants and ‘imaginings’ to suit, you do have wishful thoughts, like, ‘what if I were in a better position. How much more good could I do for my fellow men, for Michael and how much better could I serve the Father? OK, brownie points to you, my student.

“For fully seventy years you have known that you would somehow be serving Michael and, fine, it was not very clear to you in those early days, but you lived with the trust that you would. And yet, how often did that thought come to mind, ‘If only . . .’

“For me there were many ‘if only’s’ and they were mostly about my imagining ‘having dwelt’ on your planet in the Master’s time, but mostly I considered myself to have been so fortunate as to have been born on Panoptia. I plead with you, yes all of you, not to lose sight of how fortunate you all are to have been born on your planet. Life can be harsh for you, but when you do well, you will be deserving of the very best rewards in the here-after.

Teacher Ophelius: “Dear One, the question has been asked about what it means to answer the Universal Father’s edict to ‘Be perfect, as I AM perfect,’ and more specifically, what it means for you — those living on Urantia. Certainly perfection in and of itself is something that is not attainable on the evolutionary worlds of time, but there is a ‘standard’ that is set for those at each planetary level of evolutionary status, meaning: ‘Be you perfect in your own day and time.’ Because life on each evolutionary world develops uniquely and stands at various stages of development, with respect to Light and Life status, there are different standards set for each as an expected ‘curve’ of normal development and growth as it is viewed by your planetary administrators: the Planetary Prince, the System Sovereign and the Most Highs of Edentia.

“On very young planets where will creatures are still working out the vicissitudes of primitive life having had very little development in science or culture, the bar is set rather low with the expectation that they will follow the path of tribe against tribe warfare while developing tools and more cunning ways to kill each other. At this level of development, there are few, if any, Thought Adjusters (TAs) of fusion status indwelling these creature minds. At best, TAs may temporarily indwell these minds to gain experience with the biological mind mechanisms for that species as it may later (in time) be evolving to a fusion status creature.

“Once a Planetary Prince and his staff come to an evolutionary world, the bar is raised with respect to the guidance and education that is afforded the surrounding tribes of natives. They are taught many things from farming, building, raising cattle, sanitation, personal hygiene, to the basic cosmology of the universe and spiritual realities including the worship of the Universal Father. They are also given codes of conduct, which they are expected to adopt when participating in the educational activities in the centers of the Planetary Prince and his staff. It is here where men and women first develop their societies and primitive governments as they take what they have learned back to their peoples.

“Later, when an Adamic pair (Adam and Eve) come to a world, the bar is raised yet again as the biology of the natives are elevated with the infusion of the Violet bloodline from the Adamic progeny. Spiritual development from this point begins to ‘ramp up’ and these creatures then move from merely obeying the laws of conduct to knowing with greater surety the leadings of the Indwelling Spirit as more and more of them begin to receive TAs of possible fusion status.

“Once a Magisterial Son, or a Creator Son visits the planet, the bar is raised yet again and the TAs flock to these worlds in great numbers which have been prepared by the Spirit of Truth to indwell the minds of those creatures for fusion potential. From this point, the planet is on an upward curve of development in both science and spirituality.

“Everything I have just described (greatly abridged) to you is more or less the ‘normal’ curve of planetary evolution and expectation. However, your world, being classed as an experimental world and one that has been involved in a system wide rebellion for over 200,000 years, has had a ‘relapse’ in growth and spiritual development, and so it is that the standard set for those who live their lives on Urantia is ‘adjusted’ for their ‘day and time.’ In part 2 of this message we shall look more closely at what that standard is and how it relates to your current development.
