Self Acceptance is Unconditional Love

My dear friends, we love you so very much,

Being human is not a flawed condition. There are times when you will feel brilliant, loving, and wise, and there are times when you feel exhausted, frustrated, fearful, or sad. No matter what you feel, you are no less love, no less light, and no less a spirit in a body. Your experience shifts and changes often in your human journey, but your essence does not.

As you learn to accept yourself as you are, you increase your vibrational frequency of love. Self-acceptance is the same as unconditional love. It is like saying to yourself,

“Dear sweet soul, today you are brilliant. I love you. Let’s celebrate!” or at times,

“Dear sweet soul, today you are angry, frustrated, and tired. I love you. We’ll get through this. Let me comfort you.”

Those of you with children already know how to do th You don’t stop loving your child when you don’t like their behavior or words. You remember who they really are.

Without fail, we in the heavens remember who you really are. We don’t judge you. We can’t make you wrong. We see your frustrations as deep desires for more love, at times when you don’t feel you can find it. We see your sadness as feelings of loss, when you don’t yet know how to find what—or who—you feel you are missing. We see your jealousy as unfulfilled desires when you have forgotten your power to create.

Far from judging you for what you present on the surface, we see the love attempting to surface, for there is always love brewing deep within.

When you can acknowledge this love within your own heart, beneath the frustrations, fears, and tears, you begin to see yourself as your soul sees you. You can have compassion for yourself when you feel down. You can treat yourself with extra care when others have not. You can choose to acknowledge your true, loving essence even when you cannot feel it in the moment.

In doing so, you choose to flow love toward yourself, and you open to the flow of eternal love. Self-acceptance is the kindest way out of a tough emotion. Loving yourself through it is how you transform more quickly. Berating yourself holds you down. Loving yourself lifts you up.

So the next time you feel you have fallen short—ignoring your resolutions, being unkind to another or to yourself, or any of the things that typically inspire self-criticism, pause. Ask yourself, If a friend came to me saying what I’m saying to myself, how would I respond?

Without question, you would offer kindness, reassurance, and love.

So be a good friend to yourself, dear ones. Treat yourselves with loving kindness. The more you accept yourself, the more easily you can accept, though not necessarily agree with or like, others. And as you learn to live and let live, you become the change you wish to see. You become the love that heals and soothes yourself and others. You become the light that shines in the darkness.

You remember that you are the lover you seek. And when you feel like your true, loving essence, all will feel right in your personal world.
