Flexible Theories, And Practical Experiences

Flexible Theories, And Practical Experiences

The Teacher is Samuel

Samuel: "I greet you, my earthy, earthly friend and student. It is I, your teacher, Samuel, who has returned from an involvement with an experiment in genetic engineering, something so very much related to my endeavors when I dwelt on my home planet in a body much like yours. My human theories and factual experiences still do come in handy even in this advanced realm, as with many others we, too, strive for developmental, perfect-result co-creation in the physical realms of the local universes.

"We have here assembled a group of lurkers, as you would call them, but they are here to learn, as well as lend energy to the task we are about, and it is to my delight that you so swiftly "gathered in" our upturned energy as we here, and you, your Destiny Guardians, Cherubim, and Midway Cousins on terra firma, send our accolades of thankfulness to the Creator Father, for making our existence and interaction possible, enjoyable, and for marinating our lives in the never-ending love that He makes come our way.

"It is not a coincidence that you felt inclined to request my company at the very time of my return to this realm, for there is so much that we already know, and draw in at a super-conscious level. It’s good to be back with you.

"Today we will talk about varied belief systems. It is of the utmost importance that you have a belief system, a basic starting point, no matter how incomplete. And it is of the utmost importance that you will live a life in which your keen perception will aid you in noting the things that happen around you, and where you establish benchmarks that define your approach towards refining truths as you will intuit them and experience them.

"No, indeed, those of us who are perhaps greatly advanced in your eyes, even if not in our own views, do not look down on your, at times, almost pathetic efforts to define your world, truth, and the likely reality of the higher spheres of time in space into which you will carry with you, and with joy, the accumulated knowledge you have gathered in your present existences, as you continue your long climb Paradise-ward.

"It is essential that you acquire a broad understanding of what the future holds for you whilst you continue to live an organized life in the dimension you presently occupy. Climbing steadily upward, it will be possible for you to evermore become the co-creators of new realities by virtue of the gifts that Deity will extend to you in making wished-for new creations come about, and even in the kind of enterprise from which I just returned, my friend.

"At this point I will digress somewhat, perhaps, to clarify that on your next plain of existence mere thoughts can create some new realities, indeed. It is in the morontial sphere where great things are possible, and as your midway cousins have so often shown you.

"Yet as much as the Creator can make come about a total change of conditions, even so as to instantaneously turn this planet into one where all creatures would cooperate with each other - and it is only in the spirit world where entirely new creatures and creations will suddenly appear - make note that in your evolutionary life, on this evolutionary planet, the object of the exercise is for you to learn by your efforts alone.

"Much as this may seem to be a start in life resembling your being projected at great speed right off the deep end, in truth, it is the best way. For in your journey to Paradise you will be energized, you will be fuelled up, you will be motivated by the tough lessons learned, which will never be forgotten by you. For in this way those who once started their careers as the lowest rung will become the strongest and most determined in the vast monopoly enterprise that are our myriad expanding universes that reach far into deep, deep space.

"Long ago, my brother, I was given a view of my future in which my Father Fragment and I had become one. Yet today, lightheartedly, and without any concern for when this fusion may come about, do I toil in earnestness, with great joy, and with my many fellow workers, on the projects that may take many months to bring to completion. Yes, whilst we know the Father would accomplish this with absolute perfection by but a single timeless thought.

"And after this lengthy "perhaps" digression, let me explain to you clearly (Someone starting a lawnmower right outside our window.) that the ongoing quest for knowledge is an important one, that an evolving belief system, based on flexible theories and practical experiences, is unquestionably essential.

"Yet in spite of this, as one progresses in these universes, many of these belief systems will show themselves to be evermore imperfect, become redundant, even prove to be false, or be subject to the most interesting and bizarre of exceptions to the perceived rule, as your eminent Melchizedek Teachers glimpse-by-glimpse enlighten you about the truths as they exist and can be comprehended by you at any point in your progress.

"You will come to understand the greater truths, learn to admire their infinite beauty, grow to better comprehend and to more and more appreciate the Creator bestowed goodness and love they represent in our lives together in time in space.

"We surround you with our love, dear brother. This is Samuel."

Who Remains When Everything Falls Away

Who Remains When Everything Falls Away

Let us explore something together, as something you can notice directly, right here, without needing to prepare for it.

If, just for a moment, you stop doing, not in a dramatic way, but simply allowing your body to be as it is, without reaching for the next action, something very subtle begins to reveal itself, and it is already here.

And if, within that same moment, the thinking softens on its own, even slightly, so that the stream of words is no longer so tightly held, you may notice that nothing essential about you is missing, even though the usual activity has quieted.

Now take this even further, and imagine that the role you carry, the identity you have built, the story that explains who you are and where you are going, all of it gently falls away, just for a second, as if it were never needed to begin with.

What remains then?

Is there a disappearance, or is there a presence that feels even more real, precisely because it is no longer defined by anything in particular?

There is an openness that does not depend on thought to exist, and it does not require effort to sustain itself, and it is not something you create, because it was already there before any thought appeared to describe it.

You have touched this many times, although you may not have given it much attention, because the mind has been trained to focus on what happens, rather than on what allows everything to happen.

It is there in the quiet pause between two thoughts, in that almost unnoticeable gap where nothing is being said, and yet something deeply aware is present.

It is there in the stillness between two sounds, where listening continues even though there is nothing specific to hear.

It is there in the space between objects, which the mind usually ignores, even though without that space nothing could be seen, nothing could be placed, nothing could exist in relation to anything else.

This space, this openness, this quiet presence, is far more stable than any thought, far more continuous than any experience, and far more intimate than any identity you have learned to carry.

And yet, you were taught to value the content, to follow the thought, to analyze the situation, to improve the story, to refine the role, as if these were the most important aspects of existence.

It is a bit like watching clouds and forgetting the sky, becoming so fascinated by their shapes and movements that you no longer notice the vastness in which they appear.

The clouds come and go endlessly, changing form, sometimes gathering into storms, sometimes dissolving into softness, yet the sky remains completely untouched by any of it.

In the same way, thoughts move, emotions rise and fall, experiences unfold and pass, yet that open awareness in which all of this happens is never disturbed in the way the mind imagines.

Or you may see it as listening to music and believing that only the notes matter, while overlooking the silence that allows each note to be heard, that gives rhythm its meaning and space its depth.

Without that silence, there would be no music at all, yet the silence is rarely appreciated, even though it is always present, holding everything together.

In a similar way, you have been gently conditioned to believe that you must always be engaged, always thinking, always doing, always moving toward something, as if stillness had no value on its own.

Yet when that conditioning softens, even slightly, something begins to shift, and you start to notice that nothing essential depends on constant activity.

There is a quiet fullness in simply being, a sense of presence that does not need to justify itself through action or thought, and as you begin to appreciate this, as a natural recognition, it becomes more familiar.

You are not going against the mind, and you are not trying to silence it, because that would only create another layer of effort, another movement within the same pattern.

Instead, you are gently seeing that there is something here that has always been present, something that does not come and go with thinking, something that remains even when nothing is happening.

And as this becomes clearer, it naturally becomes more precious, not because you are trying to hold onto it, but because you recognize it as the most stable aspect of your experience.

This is what renunciation truly reveals, not as a rejection of the world, but as a quiet discovery that what you are does not depend on any part of the world to exist.

And from here, everything else begins to rearrange itself in a very natural way, because the actions, the relationships, the environment, the roles, they are seen more lightly, more fluidly, more as expressions than as definitions.

You still participate, you still engage, you still move through life, yet there is a softness in it, a knowing that none of it needs to complete you, because what you are was never incomplete.

It is like sitting in a cinema and watching a film that once felt intensely real, where every scene pulled you in, where every challenge seemed to require your involvement, where every moment carried urgency.

At some point, you remember that what you are seeing is a projection, light moving across a screen that remains unchanged, no matter what appears upon it.

The fire on the screen looks vivid, almost tangible, yet there is no impulse to run forward and extinguish it, because you recognize its nature.

And in that recognition, something relaxes, and the experience becomes lighter, more open, even quietly enjoyable, because there is no longer the same need to control or fix what is unfolding.

You allow the story to move, to express itself fully, because you know that it will end, and when it does, the screen will remain, untouched, empty, ready for whatever comes next.

And there you are, not as a character in the film, but as the one who has always been present, before the story, during the story, and after the story fades.

In this same way, what you are is not defined by the sequence of thoughts, not shaped by the roles you have played, not limited by the story you have carried.

You are the space in which all of this appears, the quiet openness that allows everything to be exactly as it is, without needing to hold onto any particular form.

And as you begin to notice this more often, through a simple, gentle appreciation, there is a sense of returning, not to a place, but to what has always been here.

We remain with you here.

The Mirror and the Spell, On the True Nature of Relationships

Mirror and the Spell, On the True Nature of Relationships

By Samuel

Posted on July 31, 2025

There is a quiet misunderstanding that often travels unnoticed through the human heart, a gentle whisper passed from generation to generation, saying simply: “I know you.”

It sounds innocent. Comforting, even.

But this simple statement, when believed too quickly, becomes the foundation for a complex web of projections, roles, and unseen agreements that quietly shape the entire dynamic between two souls.

In most relationships, especially those marked by love, intensity, or long history each person does not meet the other as they are in the present moment.

Rather, they meet as a reflection, a reenactment, a magnetized echo of something unresolved, unfinished, or unmet from the past.

The soul, sensing familiarity in the energy of the other, reaches inward and takes up a role almost instinctively, as if saying, “Ah yes, I remember this pattern. Let me step into it once more, and perhaps this time I will find closure.”

This is what many call karma, though it is not punishment, nor is it personal.

It is simply a loop, a sacred repetition of storylines waiting to be seen clearly and dissolved through awareness.

It is the soul’s attempt to complete what was once fragmented, not by changing the other, but by finally coming into full presence with what has always lived within.

In this way, one partner may become, without intending to, the stern father figure the other never reconciled with.

Or the absent mother. Or the disapproving sibling.

Or, just as often, the ghost of an ex-lover still haunting the nervous system with unspoken words and unmet needs.

The relationship becomes a stage, and the people upon it become actors: wearing costumes sewn from memory, emotion, and ancestral expectation.

And so, even though two people may believe they are relating authentically, in truth, they are often holding mirrors for one another, locked in a spell of mutual reflection, unable to step off the stage long enough to ask, “Who are you, really, outside of what I see?”

What is most surprising, and often painful is that within these roles, one can forget their own essence entirely.

You may begin to speak words you never meant, feel emotions that don’t belong to you, or carry burdens that seem suddenly heavy but strangely familiar.

Because in that moment, you are no longer yourself, but an echo, a mirror.

To break this karmic enchantment is not to leave the relationship, though sometimes that may occur.

The deeper invitation is to release the role you have taken on, to step back from the identity you assumed in their presence, and to return to the simple truth:

“I do not know you as I thought I did. I do not need to be who I became to survive this connection.”

The unraveling of karmic bonds begins with this profound humility:

the willingness to set down the mask of wife, husband, healer, rescuer, villain, child, teacher, and to meet again from the place of unknowing, where friendship becomes possible, and curiosity replaces expectation.

To move from the contract of roles into the openness of real presence is a sacred passage.

It may feel, at first, like a loss, for when the mirror is put down, the illusion of closeness may fade.

But what arises in its place is something more enduring:

the spaciousness to be, the freedom to grow, and the quiet permission to not need the other to complete any unspoken story.

This is why some of the deepest love arises not from the ones who played a role in your wounding, but from those who meet you without projection, without assumption, without the old scripts.

They do not demand that you stay in character, they allow you to be fluid, unfamiliar, changing.

And this is the beginning of what I would call real love, not because it is free from challenge, but because it is free from role-play.

To truly love another is to no longer require them to hold your reflection. It is to let them be unknown, and to still remain.

It is to say: “I will not ask you to heal my past. I will not become your unfinished story. But I will stay present with who you are now, even if I don’t yet understand it.”

So if you feel lost in the dynamics of your relationship,

if you find yourself acting from emotion you do not recognize as your own, or repeating conversations that feel strangely scripted, pause.

Close your eyes.

Breathe.

And ask softly, “What role am I playing that no longer serves either of us?”

Then imagine yourself gently placing that role on the earth, like a worn cloak, and feel what returns to you when you no longer carry the shape of someone else’s need.

This is the doorway to liberation in relationship.

And once crossed, what remains is you, and the other as One.

The Many Facets of Karma

The Many Facets of Karma

Samuel and Aaron are the Teachers

Samuel: “Aaron and I wish to discuss with you the many facets of karma. What is that, you say? ‘Karma is karma is karma, either soul enhancing or soul destroying.’

“But not so fast, my dear human friend, I must tell you. It is much more complicated than that. In fact, karma does have many facets, and in most circumstances it can be relative, evolving, personal and or collective. In time you will find that karma can change, day after day, year after year, to one’s happiness or potential misery.

“Consider now a good deed done by a young child, a poor little waif, leading a hungry man to a free meal at an emergency food kitchen. The same good turn is now performed by a rich man. Are these two benefactors on equal karmic terms? Don’t answer me, but the rich man only wanted the ‘beggar’ away from his door. The youngster outshines the rich man myriad times over. Karma here is relative, to do with age and motivation.

“Think of the person with an interest in conservation. He or she is allocating more and more of available free time to, say, planting trees, or rescuing wildlife in distress. Karma here is greatly positive, strengthening, growing. One might correctly say it is of a cumulative nature.

“As well, for that caring individual, karma is entirely personal. He or she, as long as the undertaking is of a solitary kind, all goodwill is accrued by that one person. The picture changes entirely when such an individual contributor manages to motivate others to become part of his or her project. Some additional minor aspect of the total accrued karma is shared by the originator of such environmental thoughtfulness. Here the sum is greater than the whole of the parts. Here karma has evolved and has become a group effort.”

Teacher Aaron: “This is Aaron, invited to add my part to this teaching. With karma there is another side of the ‘coin’. One might say there is a reverse to the obverse of your ‘universe credits’ so frequently joked about. Our interest is with your having a clear understanding of the negative collective aspect of karma.

“Beware of those in charge of your nation on your behalf, indeed, those you collectively voted into power. Take heed of these changing times of mere lip service regarding citizens’ rights and democracy. Consider your responsibility for the behaviour of those you place in charge of yourselves. Your liability does not end at the moment you place your X on the ballot paper. You are meant to oversee their performances.

“Those living in a democracy freely share in the negative karma, although to varying degrees, in their nation’s wars and in the repression of minorities. Likewise do they share in the positive karma of their nation’s good deeds. Neither of these ‘karmic sharings’ apply to those ruled by a dictator … lucky for some.

“Samuel and I wish you good day. May the coming holy days bring you peace and tranquillity.”
