Astronomers Discover Mysterious Object Bursting with X-Rays

Astronomers Discover Mysterious Object Bursting with X-Rays

In the past few years, astronomers have recorded a handful of very strange radio signals, mostly coming from towards the centre of the Milky Way.

Armed with increasingly powerful telescopes, they have detected objects that emit powerful bursts of energy a few times an hour, like a chiming clock — and then fall silent.

The source of these “long-period radio transients”, or LPTs, has not been nailed down, but it was thought they were caused by dead stars.

But a newly discovered LPT, reported in the journal Nature, challenges what we know about the origin of these mysterious objects.

Unlike previous discoveries, this LPT also sends out X-ray pulses, making it the strangest one yet.

An international team, led by Curtin University astronomer Ziteng Andy Wang, first detected a radio signal in data captured by CSIRO’s ASKAP radio telescope in Western Australia.

Dubbed ASKAP J1832-0911, the object sent out radio waves for two minutes every 44 minutes.

By chance, the signal was also spotted by NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory on Valentine’s Day last year.

Dr Wang said he was “pretty surprised” when he saw pulses of X-rays happening at the same time as the radio waves.

“That is a huge discovery,” Dr Wang said.

The X-ray and radio pulses were emitted for a few weeks, and then fell silent.

Had Chandra not been observing that patch of skythe X-ray bursts would never have been detected.

“It’s really, really lucky,”

Dr Wang said.

What is causing the flashes?

Astronomers have known about flashing objects since the 1960s, but until a few years ago, each one that had been recorded flickered very quickly, switching on and off every few seconds or minutes.

Then, in 2022, an Australian-led team discovered an LPT that emitted super-bright radio waves regularly over hours. A handful of other LPTs have been discovered since.

Researchers have proposed different theories for the source of these LPTs.

One is a super-dense star called a neutron star that spins, regularly hitting Earth with a beam of energy from its poles.

But these stars were thought to only be detectable when they were spinning very quickly, becoming too faint to see as they slowed down to LPT-level speeds.

A black ball spinning on its axis, with light shooting out of both poles.

Neutron stars send out flashes like clockwork, but they need to spin very fast to be detected from Earth. (Supplied: NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center/Conceptual Image Lab)

Or they could be weaker dead stars — white dwarfs — in binary systems, interacting with other stars.

Michael Cowley, an astronomer at Queensland University of Technology who was not involved with the new research, pointed out a pre-print study from last year that supported this second theory.

“This seemed like a reasonable answer and a promising step toward solving the puzzle,” Dr Cowley said.

But he said the detection of X-rays coming from ASKAP J1832-0911 “throws a spanner in the works”.

“Pulsed X-rays are usually associated with rotating neutron stars,” Dr Cowley said.

Two time graphs labelled radio and R-ray. Both have peaks in the graph at the same time.

This is the first LPT with X-rays observed happening at the same time as radio waves. (Supplied: Ziteng (Andy) Wang, ICRAR.)

He believed this meant that LPTs could be coming from several different sources.

“My takeaway is that LPTs don’t appear to be a single phenomenon. Instead, they may represent a new category of objects, defined not by a shared origin but by how they behave.”

An extremely strong magnet

Dr Wang said it was not clear whether the new observation could be a white dwarf or a neutron star.

“Both are possible, but personally I would prefer an isolated neutron star,” he said.

Whichever it is, the object has an extremely strong magnetic field, several billion times that of the Earth.

This makes them very difficult to learn more about, according to Stuart Ryder, an astronomer at Macquarie University who also was not involved with the research.

“They’re such extreme states of matter, we don’t really have a good understanding of them because we can’t replicate that here on Earth,” Dr Ryder said.

But the sheer weirdness of the object presents other opportunities.

As radio telescopes improve, and more LPTs are discovered, they may help physicists understand how matter works in strange environments.

“If we can study extra-strong magnetic fields in objects and elsewhere in the Universe, then we can learn a lot about the physics of matter,” Dr Ryder said.

He believes that understanding this extreme magnetism could help nudge science closer to clean nuclear fusion energy on Earth.

“At the end of the day, a star is basically just a natural form of a fusion reactor, and we’re trying to replicate those conditions in a very controlled manner here on Earth.”

The Heart of the Matter

The Heart of the Matter

To have heart means many things.  It means to love, have passion, be generous and forgiving, show kindness and sympathy, be compassionate and have courage.  The heart is a symbol for all these things and more, including one major factor in all our lives – state of health.

A Healthy Heart

If you recall from biology or anatomy class, the heart has four chambers – two atria and two ventricles.  Each atrium is a depository for blood coming in, while the ventricles pump blood out of the heart.

More specifically, blood circulates through the body and returns back to the right side of the heart – making its way through the right atrium and ventricle.  From there, blood gets pumped to the lungs where it exchanges carbon dioxide for a resupply of oxygen before returning to the heart in the left atrium.  Finally, this newly oxygenated blood flows into the left ventricle and gets pumped back out to the body for another cycle.  The timing of each contraction of the heart is critical, yet it happens automatically without skipping a beat, literally.  Even more amazing is the fact that the heart pumps roughly 6 quarts of blood through the body over 1000 times a day.  Which means your heart pumps over 6000 quarts of blood in a single day!

It is the heart, and the rest of the circulatory system, that helps bring oxygen and nutrients to every cell in the body.  Another important piece of the circulatory system is the endothelium.  The endothelium is a thin layer of cells that coat the inside lining of the entire circulatory system – from the heart to blood vessels to even the smallest capillaries.  This makes the endothelium very critical to health because it plays an important role in the proper function of every organ in the body, including the heart.

Now a healthy heart can keep chugging along at this pace for decades with nary a peep as long as the endothelium lining is healthy as well.  But a life of unhealthy choices, whether inadvertent or deliberate, can lead to a troubling heart.

When Disease Strikes

One major function of the endothelium is to facilitate blood flow.  It does this by providing a smooth surface that’s meant to inhibit foreign particles and substances from adhering.  However, when chronic inflammation damages the lining and allows cholesterol to stick to the endothelium, plaque begins to form.  So when the body has systemic and chronic inflammation, formation of plaque in the heart and arteries occurs which then leads to arteriosclerosis, hardening of arteries and heart disease.  Plaque buildup is also a silent condition; it cannot be felt until the situation is severe.  So taking care of your heart and circulatory system is not something you should wait to do or take lightly!

Not convinced?  Here are some alarming statistics on Heart Disease from the American Heart Association:

  • Heart disease strikes someone in the U.S. about once every 42 seconds.

  • Heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death in the United States, killing over 370,000 people a year.

  • Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, taking more lives than all forms of cancer combined.

  • Cardiovascular operations and procedures increased about 28 percent from 2000 to 2010, according to federal data, totaling about 7.6 million in 2010.

  • About 750,000 people in the U.S. have heart attacks each year. Of those, about 116,000 die.

  • About 550,000 people in the U.S. have a first-time heart attack each year, and about 200,000 have recurrent heart attacks.

Although this information is scary, the good news is that modest changes to your lifestyle can greatly decrease your risk of being another statistic.  The American Heart Association recommends 7 simple life changes for long lasting health.

  • Smoking. Approximately 20% of all deaths from heart disease in the U.S. are directly related to cigarette smoking. Your risk of heart disease and heart attack greatly increases with the number of cigarettes you smoke.

    • If you smoke, find the support you need to quit for good.

  • Body Weight. 21% of ischemic heart disease is attributable to a BMI (Body Mass Index) above 21. As your BMI increases, so does your risk of heart disease and stroke.

    • If your body weight is putting you at risk, work with a nutritionist and/or personal trainer to help you get back to a healthy weight.

  • Cholesterol. Approximately 73.5 million adults (31.7%) in the US have high LDL (aka “bad”) cholesterol. If your total cholesterol is high you have twice the risk for heart disease than someone with normal cholesterol levels.

    • If you have high cholesterol, work with your doctor and nutritionist to help reduce your total cholesterol numbers.

  • Blood Pressure. In the US, 1 out of every 3 adults (77.9 million) have high blood pressure. About 69% of people who have a first heart attack, 77% who have a first stroke, and 74% who have congestive heart failure had blood pressure higher than 140/90mmHg.

    • If you have high blood pressure, speak with your doctor to determine the best steps you can take to lower your blood pressure.

  • Blood Sugar. Over time, high blood sugar levels will damage nerves and blood vessels. This leads to complications such as heart disease and stroke, the leading causes of death among people with diabetes.

    • If you are diabetic or pre-diabetic, make an appointment with your doctor and a nutritionist to help get your blood sugar under control.

  • Physical Activity. You can double your risk of dying from a cardiovascular event just by being inactive. Walking at least two hours a week can reduce the incidence of premature death from cardiovascular disease by about 50%.

    • If you are currently inactive, or workout less than 2 hours per week, start adding in short walks several times per week and consider hiring a personal trainer.

  • Healthy Diet. A diet high in processed fats, trans fats, refined carbohydrates, sodium and junk food leads to high levels of cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar as well as increased body weight – all of which contribute to increased risk of heart disease.

    • Make an appointment with a nutritionist to help work toward a more heart friendly diet.

How Food is a Heartbreaker

One quick way to reduce your risk of heart disease is to start eliminating some of the foods that contribute to chronic inflammation and plaque formation.  Below is a list of foods to start reducing in your diet.

Foods High in Salt.  Too much sodium increases blood pressure.  If sodium intake is consistently excessive, it can snowball into uncontrolled high blood pressure, hardening of the arteries and eventually heart disease.  Although some foods high in salt are obvious, some are also considered healthy.  Read labels to see how much sodium you’re getting in your diet.  Here are some of the top offenders.

  • Chips, pretzels and salted nuts

  • Prepared boxed meals

  • Canned vegetables and soups

  • Soups from restaurants and your local grocer.

  • Cold cuts

  • Beef Jerky

  • Frozen meals

  • Catchup

  • Tomato sauce

  • Vegetable juice

  • Capers and olives

  • Cottage Cheese

Foods Containing Trans Fats.  Trans fats not only clog arteries, they damage the endothelial lining and create inflammation in the body.  This triple whammy effect dramatically increases your risk of heart disease.  The following foods are some of the highest in trans fats.  Work at completely eliminating these and any foods that contain hydrogenated, partially hydrogenated or fractionated oils – code for trans fat – and you will greatly enhance your heart health.

  • Coffee creamer

  • Frozen pies and desserts

  • Frozen dairy dessert and some ice creams

  • Microwave popcorn

  • Margarine

  • Biscuits and croissants from a can

  • Shelf stable muffins and pastries

Foods High in Sugar.  Every time blood sugar spikes in the body, a process called glycation occurs.  During glycation, sugar adheres to collagen, elastin and other parts of the body such as blood vessels, weakening those structures.  Glycation creates inflammation throughout the body, and that chronic inflammation can lead to heart disease.  Avoiding obvious sources of sugar like cakes, pastries, desserts, muffins and sugary drinks will be a great start.  Also make sure to read labels on the following foods to see how much hidden sugar you may be consuming.

  • Yogurt

  • Protein and energy bars

  • Coffee drinks

  • Chinese food (many sauces are high in sugar and sodium)

  • Fruit juices

  • Salad dressings

  • Tomato sauce

  • Granola

  • Milk alternatives, such as soy, almond or coconut milks

Remember, for plaque to form in the heart and arteries, there first needs to be an environment of inflammation.  That’s why a heart healthy diet is also an anti-inflammatory diet.

Foods Your Heart Hearts

A heart healthy and anti-inflammatory diet is much easier to obtain than you think!  Below is a list of some amazing and tasty foods you can start adding to your grocery list.

Veggies, including plenty of greens.  They are not only full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.  Many vegetables are a good source of potassium – a mineral key to controlling blood pressure.
Avocado.  Avocados have been found to decrease inflammation in the body and reduce narrowing of blood vessels in the hours following consumption.
Garlic. This pungent bulb helps to regulate cholesterol, reduce plaque formation and decrease oxidative stress.
Wild Blueberries.  A 2013 study found that consuming ¾ cup wild blueberries every day significantly improved endothelial function.  This translates into a healthier heart.
Pomegranates.  These juicy, seedy gems have a high level of polyphenols which can defend against arteriosclerosis and fight oxidative stress.
Whole grains.  Grains as close to their natural form as possible are full of fiber which helps lower cholesterol.
Wild-caught Fatty Fish.  Fish such as salmon and trout can be a rich source of omega 3 fats.  These essential fatty acids reduce inflammation and your risk of heart disease.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  A landmark study found that consumption of EVOO or nuts decreased risk of heart disease by 30%.
Green Tea.  One meta-analysis study found green tea may reduce risk of heart disease by as much as 28%.
Dark Chocolate.  The flavanols found in dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher) have been shown to help improve blood flow and lower blood pressure.

Incorporating many of these foods in your meal plan throughout the week, and reducing or eliminating the inflammatory foods listed above, can greatly improve your heart health.

Stay Tuned… to Your Own Signal

Stay Tuned… to Your Own Signal

My dear friends, we love you so very much,

There are so many energies vying for your attention at all times upon your Earth. There are people who want your attention, television stations that want your attention, thought forms that want your attention, and even those sitting quietly in their homes wishing for someone to reach out and help them. There are animals silently telepathing, “Is it time for dinner?” and plants sending energetic signals that they’d like a drink of water. Indeed, your entire universe is in a dance of energetic communication, with each being and each thing broadcasting their desires for the entire universe to hear.

Most people do this quite unintentionally. You wish someone would be kind to you. You wish your boss would notice your work. You wish your spouse would pick up after themselves or perhaps notice the care you put into today’s offerings. You wish your dog would stop barking and your cat would sit in your lap. You wish your kids would call more often and your political leaders would align more with your values. Dear ones, all these wishes are wonderful! You are being you—broadcasting your desires to the universe. And so is everyone else.

This would be overwhelming if it were not for vibrational law. The way the universe works—and we’ve said it many times—is that you connect with those who are on a similar signal to your own. What you say is not your signal. What you think is not your signal. Those things contribute. But your signal is more closely related to how you feel. If you feel happy thinking of something, your signal is perfectly attuned to having it. If you feel bad, sad, upset, or doubtful, your signal is focused on not having it.

For example, if you think, “I‘d like some fresh tomatoes for tonight’s dinner,” with a bit of sadness because you don’t think you’ll find them, then no matter what store you visit, they’ll be out—or not fresh. If you’re thinking the same thought and imagining how delicious they’ll make your meal, you’ll be inspired to go somewhere and find them easily.

If someone is thinking, “I wish someone were there for me,” with feelings of victimization and the belief that no one ever is, then you could hold a door open for them, and they’d walk through it without even noticing your kindness. If, however, they were thinking, “I wish someone were there for me. I love when people are kind. It makes me feel hopeful and connected—and today I’m in need. Let’s see what happens,” then they would not only notice your kindness but appreciate it and receive the love.

So, as you navigate life, remember: it is not your job to answer every tug and pull you feel from one another. It is not your job to turn on the television program that wants you to watch it—unless you want to. It is not your job to jump when someone else is in crisis, nor is it your job to pay attention to people whose behaviors do not delight you. It is your job only to attune yourself to the feeling of what you want to experience—the life you want to live, the things you want to enjoy, and most importantly, the good here and now—so that you send a signal that finds its perfect match.

Try a little fun experiment. Imagine something wonderful that you’d like to experience during the upcoming week. Make it something you don’t know how to make happen yourself, but something that’s not such a stretch that it triggers doubt or fear.

Maybe you’d like to see a butterfly right in front of you or have a bird serenade you. Maybe you’d like a little money to come in a surprising and delightful way. Maybe you’d like a compliment from a total stranger. Maybe you’d like an answer to a question you haven’t had time to figure out. Or a burst of inspiration to put some pep in your step again. Choose something you can’t do for yourself—but that you can believe is possible. Big or small doesn’t matter as much as your ability to attune to it.

Now ask yourself: “How will I feel when I see or experience this?” Imagine the delight of your signal hitting its “target,” so to speak. Imagine your happiness at feeling connected to the energetic universe. Perhaps you’ll feel relieved, happy, or inspired. Imagine that feeling. Then, as you go through the week, make it your only business to feel as good as you can. Look for things to feel good about. And every now and then, look forward to that thing you thought about. See what shows up. Imagine yourself as a radio, and be mindful of the signals you emit—so you can correlate them with what comes back.

As you prove to yourself that you are both receiver and transmitter, you’ll better understand this amazing dance of life. You’ll feel more empowered as the “Tuner” that you are. You’ll realize you have more control over what comes into your experience—and grabs your attention—than you ever thought possible.

And to all of you dear empaths—you’ll realize that you need not “take on” the frequencies of others. You don’t have to “jump” to answer the cries. You only need to manage your own tuner a little more diligently so you can attune to the more pleasant frequencies life has to offer. Even in a crowd, you can focus on the beauty in some souls. Even around those having a heated debate at work, you can tune into how much each one cares. Even when you witness events you can’t stand, you can focus on the courage of the souls who placed themselves in such conditions—many of them angels—participating in a world awakening.

Look for the good, dear ones. Allow yourselves to tune into the good around you. Don’t just accept the loudest broadcasts of those vying for your attention. You get to choose. You get to tune. And in so doing, you reclaim your power to experience this great buffet of life however you choose.

God Bless You! We love you so very much.

Connect with Your Nonphysical Self & Go Home

Connect with Your Nonphysical Self & Go Home

The Creators (12D)

A Nonphysical Collective Consciousness

Channel: Daniel Scranton

Posted on June 1, 2025

We are here for you. We are The Creators. We are a twelfth-dimensional collective of nonphysical beings, and we are here to help.

We acknowledge the wisdom that you have through experience there on Earth, and we understand that what you are experiencing is quite different from what we are experiencing. Therefore, we know we have a lot to learn from you through your experiences. We also know that you could not exist there in the physical without the help of the nonphysical, and so you benefit from our perspective. We may not be experiencing what you are experiencing in your physical struggles, but it is precisely because we are not mired in the issues and problems of your day that we are able to offer a higher perspective.

So you see, you benefit from us remaining where we are. Now, it is the merging of the two that you ultimately want to experience there on Earth whether you know it or not. You want to experience yourselves as being more electrified, more energized by the nonphysical that is always giving you life. And there are many ways in which you can do this.

You can do what you love to do, and in those moments you will be aligning yourself more with the consciousness of the Divine, with the nonphysical energies that literally animate your physical form. You can also sit in meditation, and in removing the thoughts that block the energies from flowing, you can open up to more of who and what you really are. Thirdly, you can channel. And while it may seem as though that is a tall order for some of you, we want you to recognize that you do feel like you are channeling from time to time. You do feel like you are in the zone, so to speak, when you are doing something that you love or saying something that you really believe to be true.

Therefore, in order to open up and receive higher-frequency energies and information, all you really need to do is put yourself in the right position to receive. And that leads us to our fourth way that you can merge more with the nonphysical. You can simply sit in your Divine Feminine and open yourself up to the energies that are present at any given time. You can feel those energies merging with your physical form, and you can become more energized, more enlivened through the simple act of receiving something that doesn’t look like it really is there, but you can feel nonetheless.

Relax and let go, and know that all that is coming to you in that moment that you do so is for your greatest and highest good. All you have to do to be in greater harmony with the nonphysical energies is stop resisting. Stop resisting what you think you need to resist. Let go of control. Let go of the need for something to be different than how it currently is.

You want to experience yourselves as gods living on a playground planet, and you can experience yourselves as such if you simply heed our advice. And we know that what we just laid out for you is not very challenging. We know this because we have witnessed so many doing it there on Earth, and we have felt the effortlessness of the beings who were engaging in these simple ways of connecting more to your nonphysical essence, your home.

We are The Creators, and we love you very much.
