Transforming our fear by loving the child within

Q: How can we identify the fears that no longer serve us?
P’taah: Well of course the bottom line is that you do not have to explicitly name the fear – the fear shows up in every aspect, and as you go about your day to days, then situations will arise and you will know by the feeling of it that it is fear-based. And you may say that, in a way, anything negative that comes up with a reaction says that there is a fear.
So you can know that the only way to transform it is to take responsibility. Now this simply means that, whatever the story is, whatever you have co-created that brings up the fear, take responsibility for the feeling – to know that this is your feeling, that you have co-created, in a way, whatever the situation in the moment is, that you may transform it.
So the first step is to take responsibility. And of course you can only do that in the now moment, in the Now, while you are feeling it. And you can only change it by the embracement of it. We can say what your usual reaction is, is to push it away so that you do not have to deal with it, eh?
So the four keys to the transformation are: take responsibility, that is the first; number two: in the Now moment; while you are feeling it is three. Take responsibility in the Now, while you are feeling it; and number four is by the total embracing of it.
So you know, whatever it is that brings up the feeling, if you step back from the story, the feeling is one that you have known since you were a tiny child. And the little one within you, that portion of your psyche that is still a child, it is that which, in a way, runs your life if you do not acknowledge and embrace that baby you, that small child who is so afraid of getting it all wrong, getting it wrong, being punished, etcetera.
So if you can, in the Now moment while you are feeling the fear, if you can, stop and breathe deeply in to that feeling in the belly – the feeling is always in the belly – and as you reach in to that feeling in the belly you can imagine you as a small child, you can imagine this frightened little being, you.
And you know, what has happened through your life is that you have pushed this portion away from you because it hurts, it hurts too much. And you push away, and of course by pushing away you do not change anything, it is there always, always.
And so as you can, in a way, open the door and welcome this baby part of you, this little being, into your heart, and to embrace that disregarded child portion of you, and just say ‘Thank you, thank you for bringing me to this now, I love you’.
To love that little part of you disregarded all through your life: ‘I love you’. And in that embrace-ment you are in the heart-being-ness of you, in the wholeness of you, and therefore you transform the frequency.
