We are already enlightened!

Q: You have often said that our experiences are all a grand illusion. Is it important for us to recognise the illusion for what it is?
P’taah: Of course you play the game called ‘I am human and I have forgotten’, but the truth is, at soul level you do not ever forget. You are very aware, consciously aware from your light-being-ness, of how you create lifetimes, and how you forget during those lifetimes in order to maintain, in a way, the integrity of the human adventure.
And o course at soul level, or at light-being-ness, you are totally aware of every lifetime, through time, and also beyond the human experience, the other experiences that your light-being-ness creates.
So it is really to be in the gratitude for the adventure, whilst underneath the day to day adventure you quietly expand in to that understanding that who you are, indeed, is a grand entity, a grand entity who experiences all of these lifetimes simply for the experience of the game.
And when you die, in your physicality, in your human form, when your soul essence departs from the body, you are simply back in your knowing-ness, in your expanded truth, in your light-being-ness – that is called going Home.
Q: And actually that is enlightenment, I mean that is the enlightened state?
P’taah: Of course it is! You are light-being-ness, in light. However, we would say to you, enlightenment is not really anything to do with struggling to know more. It is not about knowing more, it is about having your full life, being totally immersed in your day to day life – in your joy, in your sorrow, in your laughter and in your play, in your love, in the love, in your humanity. To be in the experience, and to say thank you, thank you each day for this experience, in the knowing-ness that who you truly are is a light-being come forth to play this game.
You may say that enlightenment, really, is about recognising the grandeur of who you are. And remembering: ‘I am, in every now, no matter how it seems, a perfect and eternal expression of Source.’ That is the light-being, eh?
The important thing is not about enlightenment, it is about living your life to the fullest in kindness, in respect, in honour, in love, you know. It is living your life day to day in this fashion, and in your thank-yous, that you are being as much as possible in your light, in your light-being-ness, en-light-ened.
